Join us for the return of the Chase the Sun series to Prestwold Hall on Thursday 10th August 2023.

Run 5k, 10k, 10 Mile or the Move Mile around the flat and fast Airfield at Prestwold Hall and battle to get around the course before the sun goes down. This is a perfect venue for testing yourself over a new distance or going for a personal best!

Each kilometre is accurately marked out with distance flags and we have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you on your way to the finish. At the end of the race you will each get a themed medal, water, post race snacks and free event photographs!

This is a chip timed race and all runners will receive an accurate official time!

BRAND NEW MEDAL TO BE REVEALED!!

**Please note there is a 2 hour cut off time for the 10 Mile race due to limited lighting and visibility.

10 Mile – 6:30pm

5k & 10k – 7:00pm

All races will take place at Prestwold Halls Motor Circuit.

Run the Move Mile!

We ask that any child under the age of 5yrs runs with a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians are welcome to run with push chairs and buggies, should you wish to, however they would need to start at the back of the field. The race is also wheelchair accessible.

Here at RunThrough we are always looking for likeminded people to join our community. We always value an extra pair of hands and would love for you to come along and help us! From managing stalls at the event village to handing out medals at the finish, our volunteers are a critical part of what make RunThrough events so special! If you fancy volunteering with us as a volunteer at his event or any of our other events please click HERE

This magnificent house was largely remodelled in 1843 by William Burn and has been the home of the Packe family for 350 years. The first Packe to occupy the Hall was Sir Christopher Packe, later a Cromwellian peer and one of the city men behind Oliver Cromwell, who in many ways were responsible for the efficient functioning of the Commonwealth Government. Knighted at the time of his Mayoralty of London, Christopher Packe was foremost in pressing the ‘petition and advice’ desiring the Protector to assume the title of the King.

Prestwold Hall is still a privately-owned house lived in by a descendant of Sir Christopher Packe and is not open to the general public. The house contains many interesting features including a considerable amount of marbled Italian plaster work, some fine 18th century English and European furniture and a large collection of family portraits from Sir Christopher Packe to the present day.
